The analysis of an existing detention pond at LBJ and Craddock Avenue was requested by the City of San Marcos in order to determine capacity and placement within the existing drainage easement.

Cuatro Consultants, Ltd prepared various runoff flow models and presented an overview and summary to the City Public Works staff. The analysis determined the pond was under-sized and we maximized the use of available site easement area to re-contour the existing pond and provide acceptable detention volume.

The project, completed in 2002, consisted of earthwork, revegetation, and easement determination. Cost of the project was approximately $75,000.
